The Intolerant Culture of Tolerance

For the past 8 years I have been told to be tolerant. I have been told that my stand on Biblical values in narrow and at times bigoted. I have been told that the "progressives" (liberals) are evolving the culture and that I needed to get their agenda.

Now, we have an election and those folks lost. They are crying in the streets. They are demanding we stop this from happening. They are seeking counseling, comfort dogs, and time off to deal with something that think may happen that they are unable to tolerate! What happened to their openness and tolerance. (By the way, how did they ever get to change their label from liberal to "progressive"?)

I am getting older and my memory is not as good as it use to be, but I don't remember riots in the street and public crying when the conservatives (really haven't had one nominated in many years) lost.

Could it be that the country tried it their way and decided something was missing, our values.

My dad died in 1965, he was a Godly man and I know he is enjoying heaven. However, if he came back for a day he would hardly recognize what America has become. I am afraid he would be disappointed in my generation and in me for allowing our nations to drift into hedonism under our watch.

Donald Trump has been elected, not my first choice at all, lets give him a chance. If he accomplishes half of what he promised we would take a giant step in the right direction.
